I'm going completely mad waiting for a callback. Eventually I'll give up and call again, but at least I have another reason to do that.

I think any post-it that reads "Call sara" immediately loses stickiness and gets lost.

I'm getting better at living in the moment only. But it is making me insane.

Depends -- what other kinds of beer do you have?

That's it. I could mix up a batch of strawberry margarita though. That actually sounds more appealing right now!

I have *no idea* what recto and verso mean.

What is even happening?

Oh sara. What a hard wait. Definitely call. If the vet's office is anything like the physician-for-people's office, call.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

From Overheard in the Office:

Computer tech: how often you clean your hard drive?
Customer: Once in a while, but I always use Windex.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The number of people who don't even understand when I say "indices" instead of "indexes" is kind of freaky to me.

I outed myself as a dork when I said to someone "Technically, no, it's not octopi. Octopodes is correct, octopuses is less wrong."

And then I broke her nose. Does it count as breaking her nose if it's her cartilage? I think not, and I want it stricken from my record.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And then I broke her nose. Does it count as breaking her nose if it's her cartilage? I think not, and I want it stricken from my record.

Like any of us are going to argue with someone who breaks other people's noses..
