You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

billytea had an onion tart in the cookbook that looks fab.

Yep! And the other two recipes I contributed also start with "chop up two onions". I made this connection after serving them all for the Wallybee, and afterwards discovering that onions tend to have a bad effect on her.

But the onion and brie tart is good, and I suggest trying it with goat's brie too.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I had a cheese & onion pasty in Cardiff once that rocked my world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Unsurprisingly, the krav reference on Alias made me laugh and laugh. What a lovely recommendation.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

ita, do you know if he actually got some training for that scene, or was it just a throwaway line?

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Ugh. Night shift person is 40 minutes late and we can't reach her on her cell. I want to go home! t /whine

Not that I've heard of, but I'll ask around, Jessica.

Now I want peanut butter and it's been banned. Damned you all.

Devi is sticking really close to me. She knows something is not right. Of course, her version probably goes "ALL TO MYSELF. EVERYTHING. ALL TO MYSELF." but it is endearing anyway.

Zen is slipping a little. Mainly because I keep seeing stuff out of the corner of my eye (a kleenex box on the futon, a magazine tossed on the bed) and thinking for a moment it is Mister Kitty. At 7, I glanced at the clock and walked automatically to the kitchen and had no reason to be there (he gets his shot at 7.) I still am ok with not having called if something happened, they would have called me, he's getting good care but I wish I'd thought to stop by and see him on the way home. That didn't occur to me as a possibility until they were closed. Of course, had I done that, I'd be a complete mess all over again. The transitions are hard, especially when there is nothing *I* can do but feel bad.

I kinda feel all one note lately, but...well, hell. I am.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm such a Trader Joe's believer now. Just ate a yummy carnitas burrito. Only issue is, it took an hour to cook, but I can plan ahead like that!

Also, in Survivor news, I heart Cerie so much.
