Timelies all!
I don't use scent/perfume(heck I use unscented deodorant because the scented stuff bugged me), though I occasionally use scented shower gel.(tending towards the food-ish scents, like vanilla or lime)
Grumph. If my parents tells me one more time that I need to be supportive of G during his job search I'm gonna scream.(There's also this cranky part of me that thinks, "What about me? Is anyone going to be supportive of me?)
Bleah, Sheryl. It's always so much easier to be supportive when you don't have other people standing around reminding you of how supportive you should be.
Kathy, you have to fakeout the ketchup/grilled cheese thing by pretending the ketchup is just for the fries, and then, Oops! Sandwich in the ketchup!
Canadians do this without shame. No silly pretending involved. (And duh, the
gravy
is for the fries.)
Does anyone want to pack up my kitchen for me? That's my job for tomorrow, and I don't want to do it. I've got the books almost all done, and the clothes aren't going to be a problem (that's what plastic garbage bags are for), but the thought of fitting all those non-uniformly shaped pots and pans into boxes just drives me crazy.
OH. I forgot to mention #14 on the list of ways the Buffistas have changed my life.
After much reading about the joys of Lush, I mentioned to Fella that they have a store quite near us. (Georgetown) But because I'm supersensitive to smells, I was concerned about how long I could spend shopping there.
Fella snuck out one evening and bought me both the peach and lavendar massage bars. They are the BEST. Sooo much better than massage oil and the absolute best, non-quese inducing smells.
Of course, he's benefiting with the extended massages while I'm reveling in the fragrance.
Beej, try a bath ballistic - they're pretty nifty. I like the Bollywood - it's like taking a bath in Constant Comment Tea.
And, for ita (link).
Who is that, Toddson?
And don't you find the Bollywood stains your tub? I've taken to Scrubbing Bubble the tub after every Black Pearl, and it kinda kills the lazy mood. But it's better (and glitterier) than nothing!
I'm hording two ballistics, a melty, and a bubble bar at home.
I don't know why I do this, there's a Lush not far from work.
I'm a big fan of the Butterbombs and Creamy Candy bubble bars.
billytea had an onion tart in the cookbook that looks fab.
Yep! And the other two recipes I contributed also start with "chop up two onions". I made this connection after serving them all for the Wallybee, and afterwards discovering that onions tend to have a bad effect on her.
But the onion and brie tart is good, and I suggest trying it with goat's brie too.
I had a cheese & onion pasty in Cardiff once that rocked my world.
