Yep, Dana. You've got it.

(skip-and-skim catch-up post)

Kathy, do NOT click it. It's a scam.

sarameg, I hope everything turns out okay for Mister Kitty.

Endearments: I use them a lot. I try not to at work, but I call just about everyone I know "sweetie", "pumpkin", "darling", "my dove", or other random terms of endearment at one point or another.

Perfume/scents: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's Pink Moon, mixed with chocolate. I smell like a very expensive (and pink!) box of chocolates.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thanks, guys. You'd think that musicians would have a handle on math, but maybe not if it's anything more complicated than counting to four over and over again.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I rarely wear scent. I dunno exactly why. I guess because a lot of other people's perfumes are overpowering and I don't want to be that way. I will occasionally wear scent when dating, but very mild. Ideally, I want it to mix with my own scent and be something so subtle that people don't even realize I'm wearing it until they catch some similar scent somewhere else and automatically think of me.

When the construction was in one of its worst periods here, I was crashing at my ex's. I'd forgotten my shampoo and conditioner so I used his. Big mistake. I couldn't stop thinking of him all day.

I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint soap, so there's that scent. I LOVE the scent of Trader Joe's Refresh shampoo. I occasionally use rose water. I also like clove-scented things.

I deleted the e-mail, and I cannot believe I was almost fooled by it. They're really good at their scam, that's for sure!

Endearments: I call kids and dogs "sweetie" and "honey," but that's it, and I sound like a truck-stop waitress when I do so.

I used to use perfume back in high school and college, but stopped after graduating. I have some perfumed lotions, as well as a few scented bath stuff, but hardly ever use them.

In mememe news, just got back from finishing off the paperwork for my new apartment, as well as getting the keys and actually seeing the unit for the first time (before this, I only saw the sample unit they have set up in the clubhouse). Sure enough, it's a bit smaller than the sample, so I'm going to have the movers trash my old loveseat instead of move it, and I'll probably end up putting two of the bookshelves in the dining area instead of just one. I will probably drive up with some stuff on Sunday and make sure they finished cleaning the place up (they just installed new carpet, so it's a bit of a mess today), as well as fill out the move-in checklist so I don't get blamed for any problems when I eventually move out.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so sorry to hear about Mister Kitty, sarameg. I hope he feels better soon.

I have taken an accidental break since last Thursday, doing some costumes. It was, to put it bluntly, mass chaos, and still is. Only one example of this is the part where someone's quickchange involves being hosed off in a slop sink because his previous scene he is naked and covered in mud on-stage.

I am not sure that my job should include hosing off naked male students.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Perfume: I am lazy, so I don't wear perfume. But, I love scented lotions. My current favorite is Bliss' Vanilla + Bergamot Body Butter: [link]

Endearments: I use them all the time. Even at work. But, only to those coworkers that I have a friendly relationship with.

Yay for new apartment getting, Kathy!!

The apartment managers are really accommodating to me--not only did they eliminate the $300 cat deposit, but they're only charging me $750/month, instead of the $760 that I thought it was going to be ($750 + $10 for cat rent). I'm guessing that this place is going to work out, despite being smaller than I'd prefer.

Oh, and the other good thing is that there's a huge tree right outside of my living room window that grows past the roof of the building, so my cat will have a tree to look out at, even though we're on the third floor!

Congrats on the new apartment!

If you make sure the water is really really cold, they might not ask you to do that anymore, Sophia....

I have been zen for 6 whole hours. And I'll probably remain that way unless I get a phone call or when I go home, and it occurs to me I might not get a call (since my vet is off) unless something changes. So. Huh. With so many other things, I need to know Right.This.Second every single detail even if it is nothing. NSM now.
