I think the problem with those 'standign seats' for airlines is 1) I knowe people that can't stand fo ran hour- walk yes, but standing still is a bad.
I imagine if those standing seats existed you wouldn't be forced into them, they'd be a cheaper option on the same flight. Say, $75 cheaper for a ticket from NYC-DC, which is about an hour-long flight? I'd consider it.
The thing that pinged me about that article was that the reporter calculated how many seats you could add on the new big jets if they were all standing seats; but why in the hell would an airline do that? Those jets are for long hauls. No airline is going to use a monster like that for short hops.
No airline is going to use a monster like that for short hops.
They use 747s for short haul flights in Japan. I don't think they do anywhere else though.
If I can fly there in less than an hour, I'll be taking the train instead.
You know, cleaning is very cathartic. I've been tossing all kinds of things today, including away creepy love letters.
I also found $20 in a birthday card from five years ago.

Tell me you scanned them first!
Tell me you scanned them first!
So you can read them, or so I can save them for my evidence log?

Well, now that you mention it...
She's not mentioning that she also found a few pictures of you.
Too late. Guy who wanted to hold me in his arms forever to keep me from ever leaving his side ever ever again? Already in the dumpster.
She's not mentioning that she also found a few pictures of you.
