Well, yeah, I was glad that they introduced a reason for Luke's hesitation but they've never shown him to be less than comfortable in his curmudeonliness before. I think that April's mom only expressed in simple words what Lorelai was actually doing when Rory was younger. (I thought it only began to hit her that she'd done this when Rory couldn't deal with Dean telling her he loved her.)

GG I'm a little pissed at april's mom. I mean, I grok what she's saying. April's life has had a couple of huge upheavals, and she doesn't want some cheap fling to uproot April. that's totally legit. However, dismissing Lorelai and luke's engagement as "not married" is shitty. Whats to say that they wont get a divorce, or Luke might not get hit by a truck ?

Just when you think Wilson is the Wise Observer, you find out his feet are as much cracking clay as anybody's.
But how shippy was House's subtly desperate "Are we OK?" His world would so go to hell if Wilson spurned him.
I loved how many uses they got out of Grace: sympathetic patient, focus for the Jesus-kid, focus for Wilson's weakness. My gosh, they must have writers on staff.
I also liked how What's-His-Name's snitching of Cameron's article is resonating. What with what's coming up, we should get Cameron being all "He's sick, I must forgive him, but I don't want to forgive him, but my ethics say I must."
I love this show. Bones gives me the pretty and the fun, House gives me the meat.
