Go California and Illinois!
I fell asleep a little after 10:00, and woke up a few minutes ago. That counts as a sucessful nap, right?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Nope. Try again.
Not LASIK on a plane; beginning impeachment procedings.
I bet they're also doing LASIK on a plane. Those crazy hippies.
I'ma write to the NYS legislature and tell them to jump on this bandwagon as soon as they can get their butts in gear.
Apparently also Pennsylvania and Vermont (you talk about hippies, I tell you what) are jumping on the bandwagon of freedom also.
Nope. Try again.
I probably will, after I veg and get my napping strength back up for a couple of hours.
My naps were pretty successful. I don't feel near as lightheaded now.
This is stupid.
Yay for sucessful napping for you ita, though sorry for the need for it.
My head hurts much more now than it did before the nap, but I think it's because I didn't eat anything before I went back to sleep, and am getting hungry.
OK, so I hate to share sadness, but I kinda need to share this with somebody...
Five music students at Indiana University were killed in a small plane crash Friday. They were all brilliant musicians, two of them were in undergrad with me, and Robert was a good friend. It's a terrible loss, and I don't know why I need to tell people who aren't really involved, but I think they deserve to be recognized for what they accomplished, and how much more they could have done.
Thanks for helping me cope.
Oh, that state legislature news definitely raises my Monday spirits.
ION, I haven't gotten out of bed yet. Went to be somewhere around 3am. Got a phone call at 9:30. Should have gone right back to bed but I messed around on the Interwub. Then finally went to sleep a bit more and am now up. Bath is drawn. Dreading the crowds at Emeryville Trader Joe's. With gas prices, I can't justify driving to further-away TJ's that are less crazy. Honestly, I ought to break my bike out but since I've pissed away so much of the day I don't want to take another hour or so biking there and back (actually, it seems like most of the time is taken trying to lock my monoframe recumbent with a huge motorcycle lock....yeah Bay Area for being a bike theft leader).
