You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Timelies!

Kalshane, that sure sounds annoying. I've got my own postal woes. I really don't want to have to pay for a PO Box simply because the postal workers are pretty brain damaged these days...

I'm feeling rather odd. I went to Harbin Hot Springs for a 2 day vacation. When I got back I thought I'd take a nap because I was pretty exhausted, but I ended up staying up straight through to 6am. Oops. Then I got up and went to a job interview. I went to bed earlier last night but I still feel very disjointed.

The job interview went okay. I have no idea whether they'll go for me but I'm trying to tell myself it's okay either way. It's not the idea job for me (even given what's realistic to expect), but it has a number of good points.

In a couple hours the friends who took me out for a haircut last Friday will be going with me to Nordstrom Rack. We'll see if we can find any decent clothes that fit me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I committed apple-infanticide again.

I might not be able to find a sensible way to include vegetables in my diet, but I think the fruit thing is getting better and better.

Back to MS Project.

I hate the last 30 minutes of work on a friday.

I'm having a salad of mixed greens I just picked from my garden. Man, it's hard washing all the dirt out of greens. Also? The endless rain here means that the grass weeds are my biggest crop. They're seeding right now so I have to figure out a way to cut them down before it's too late.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh fuck. I was supposed to make a job-related phone call. It's too late now, right? Dammit.

I wish someone would take me shopping at Nordstrom's.

ChiKat knows someone who shops there.

Whyn'tcha grab msbelle and go? I thought NYC was full of all sorts of stores. Honestly, I'm only looking forward to it because of the company. At the best of times, clothes shopping makes me feel huge (even when I'm my healthy weight). Right now I'm close to my top weight again. Dammit.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I wish I only had 30 minutes left. 2 hours to go here.

Also? The endless rain here means that the grass weeds are my biggest crop.

We haven't had much rain this spring at all. I'm worried that it's waiting until the end of May so it can turn our LARP field into a giant mud pit yet again.

Heh.

We don't have any Nordstrom's here, I don't think, and (possibly as a result) they are in my head as the perfect department store, what with the actual customer service and all, all based on one trip there possibly 20 years ago. Also, I hate shopping.

Nordstrom in NY.
