Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Perkins, I hope you're feeling better, and/or taking a sick day today. Sick is sick!

Art Crawl!!!

I hated Loreilai's drunken speech at the end - but there was much to love in this episode. I wondered whether the untranslated Korean was thanks to Lost ?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

US map of religiosity

eta: There's a big mess of religiosity in Texas, and another big one in Minnesota/Iowa/N & S Dakota. Huh.

That map is weird to me, though, because it only counts congregations that are part of the larger organizations they surveyed, and a lot of congregations aren't. I think even a lot of the mega-churches are independent, so might not be counted?

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, Stephen from Top Chef has a website -- and it's ultra-pretentious!

(I know -- shocking.)

Also, the northeast (with the exception of Maine) seems to have more religious people than the southeast.

Stephen really needs to be punched in the face.

Also, the northeast (with the exception of Maine) seems to have more religious people than the southeast.

I'm sure that's a result of the larger-organization thing.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Workers showed up at 7:50 (10 minutes before my alarm went off) this morning. I had been told 9am. Now I have one freaked out cat in the bedroom and one seriously stubborn cat inside a swivel rocker in the living room. If I'd been fully conscious I would have made them wait in the hall until I was dressed and had the cats in the bedroom.

Now tagless for your comfort.

McClellan's resigning. He's going to take an easier job as a human target for a blind knife thrower.
