Our Easter sermon was all on Hope.
Happy Birthday, Sheryl
good things
Orb and the promise that it will be there for my birthday tomorrow.
I just bought myself two pairs of shoes at good prices
I just ate leftover potatoes au gratian and asparagus
I have amazing orange cake with choclate fudge like frosting on topthat my sister made for my birthday
Matt landed safely at BWI
the rest of the good stuff is for tomorrow, so I will save it for then.
Nothing good has happened to me today
You still have FABULOUS hair, don't you?
I'm not good with hope.
It's fine for other people, and in fact I think Allyson should have it.
I just try and avoid it where possible.
Unrelatedly, someone at krav asked me for my physical therapist's number. I told him I couldn't give it to him, and gave him a brief spiel on our parting of the ways. He asked again if I could, and I said no. Then he asked for his name, and I told him I couldn't do that either.
I did walk away, but then I came back and told him who would tell him. He looked at me like I was a little bit crazy, but that's hardly going to turn a head at the centre.
Mmm. Brownie. Also unrelated.
I just had one, too. Weird, huh?
I actually bought espadrilles. They're for the 2nd job (serving in a tapas bar), but still. Weird. But they're cute. And are a wedge style that won't make me fall over. So that's good.
Our Easter sermon was all on Hope.
Ours was about the resurrected Christ living in those around us and how we treat them.
Allyson, I think you should go get a piece of pie. Pie is always a good thing.
More good things:
The nano playing Skee- Lo's I wish, followed by the Boomtown Rat's I don't like Mondays.
(yes, sometimes I am strange and off-putting)
The fact that I am only 3 hours away from going home, instead of four.

Ours was entitled, "Rolling Stones."
