Jilli - congrats, that is awesome - on both counts.
Good things:
I just bought my plane ticket to the F2F.
Totally gorgeous day here.
I bought new lipstick at lunch (sort of a plum color, but not dark).
Good things:
I have the iPod today.
My new Converse match this sweater perfectly.
It's starting to get sunny outside.
but it will be a Good Thing, once it's done, right?
It'll mostly be good that it's done, but yeah. I felt the same way about my undergraduate thesis and master's project. HATE. But I'm looking forward to the relief. The good thing there was that I'd gotten another chunk done, was the thing.
You know what I hate? A lack of page length requirements. I know you should just write what needs to be written, but let's be honest. If the teacher's thinking "paragraph" and you write four pages, you've essentially done a different assignment. I'm not trying to weasel out of real work by asking how many pages are expected, I'm trying to get a feel for the actual assignment.
Wankers.

JEA. LOUS.
Also, wants the California, yes she does, wantsssss it....
Good news from today--even though I had to let one potential apartment go (they wanted too much for the deposit), I think I found a better place MUCH closer to work (as in a 15-minute commute vs. one hour!) with a MUCH lower deposit required. I'm looking at it tomorrow after work, and if it's as good as I hope, I'll be filling out the paperwork immediately and moving on May 1.
Only worry is that I was just googling the address and came across an "apartments rated" site that had 13 entries for the complex. Nine good, four really bad--apparently, new managers came in back in 2002 or so and have been letting "anybody" in, which helps me with my bad credit rating, but makes me worry about some of my potential neighbors. Oh, well, if it doesn't work out, I can always move next year. With gas the price it is now, being only a few miles away from the office is a huge plus!
My good thing is that I am back home with my kitties.
Now if I could only ungronkify after taking gravol this morning...
msbelle is a smartass.
Good things about today:
It amuses me to think that I'm a waist cincher, stripey tights and a cunning hat away from following Jilli Fashion
Photos. I want photos of the fluffy skirt you are wearing.
