Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Always Anti-fascist!

I was just thinking that, Tep. Maybe Butch and Ron will invite her to the commitment ceremony.

Aw, the vending machine got you a going-away present.

Yeah! It's been giving me Cokes for a quarter the last few weeks. It loves me.

My new nickname at work seems to be "short-timer."

Is it the Butch and Ron slashtastic Coke machine?

Alas, I left the Butch and Ron Coke machine behind years ago. I miss them. I wonder how those boys are doing now. Are they still gazing at each other lovingly? Did they run away together? Did they have a passionate affair and an even more passionate break up?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now she's talking with her mouth full.

I should become inured to these things, but I just can't.

I did not pass out in my branch meeting. I'll count this as a win.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Sarameg!

I did get a free lunch today, but a) it's almost an exact duplicate of what I had been planning on having for dinner, and b) mine would have been a lot better, or at least a hella lot less salty.

I brought in something from Trader Joe's and I'm still remarkably hungry. Do I eat the yoghurt and/or apple I also brought, or do I go downstairs and get a lemon square from the caf?

Cashmere - Apr 10, 2006 11:02:45 am PDT #9928 of 10001
Now tagless for your comfort.

Lemon square is a default answer.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yogurt has protein, carbs and depending on type possibly fat as well. Apple has carbs, fiber and potassium. Lemon bar has neither protein nor fiber, pretty much sugar and (depending on recipe) fat. So I'd say eat the one you think will taste the best.
