Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I hate SMART.

Anti-intellectual.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

My secret anti-intellectualism is the only reason I've survived all these decades of hanging around universities.

I KNEW it! Your secret is out, missy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Actually, if more goals were measurable and specific, I'd be a happy-assed camper. Because I need to prove I've achieved them, after all. Attainable doesn't hurt, and the other two are just to spell a cute word, AFAIC.

Now, if only I could bitch slap this "project management" software into letting me log time against both projects and sub-projects, I might be delirious with happiness.

Instead of just restless to get the weekend started.

How does someone become a programmer writer and NOT know the difference between effect and affect? And why does my job description not include "Smite the stupid ones"? Why?

Take what Rick said, and substitute "SAP" whereever he used "Peoplesoft".

OMG, we switched over to SAP a year ago, and it's still a nightmare.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Finally! I have found the eclectic combination of radio buttons and checkboxes that allows me to report time against subprojects and master projects.

This obviously means that somehow it'll get jacked up on submission, and my manager will have to reject it. But that's next week's issue.

For the first time EVER, timesheet complete week of. I promise to be good this weekend, and finish my status report before start-of-business Monday. Honest. Plus hit the gym at least once, do relevant laundry, clear off TiVo, watch at least one Netflix DVD...and maybe even cook so I'll have stuff to bring for lunch next week.

Honest.

You're turning into msbelle.

I am having an exciting Friday night where I just cleaned out my fridge.

My potential weekend guests are not staying with me, which is good, because I would have had to give them my bed, and I like my bed. But tomorrow we brunch and hang out and whatever.

I... am sometimes confused about which goes where. Or at least, I mindfuck that I am. You know what I do then? Re-write the damned sentence.
