Whoa! Scotter Libby files papers that say that Bush ordered the intelligence leak.

Treason much?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh. Haven't read the linked article yet, but I had heard rumors that Bush was mad at Rove for the leak....

eta: Upon reading the article - it says that Bush made no specific mention of leaking Plame's identity....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm not sure that women "like bad guys" so much as they want a little excitement.

I'm not trying to talk about women in general, nor imply that all men are too-nice or too-bad. Just that if your picker is off and you're seeking excitement, it's more likely from a bad boy you want to make palatable than injecting fun into a too-nice guy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Just that if your picker is off and you're seeking excitement, it's more likely from a bad boy you want to make palatable than injecting fun into a too-nice guy.

If your picker is off and you're seeking stability, though, you're going to be finding the too-nice guy and trying to make him more fun or interesting or whatever. It's just a different kind of "off."

See, I've never seen that. Which is why I ask. All the fixing women I've seen have been trying to quiet a guy down.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It's just a different kind of "off."

Right, either one is actually a dud.

I would guess this more often plays out as finding the too-nice guy and convincing yourself the fun and interesting doesn't matter.

Huh. Wish I had known all this when I was in college....
