Having been pregnant twice now, I think Katie is certainly within the bounds of possibility, especially for a first pregnancy on a very skinny woman. I looked like I was toting a (rather smaller) beach ball with my first, and as I'm 5'11" I had a lot of room vertically. I maintained a skinny face and arms and had no problems wearing rings.

Second pregnancy, 'nother matter.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If that entire bulge is supposed to be baby and baby shell, then it's not only not real, it's crappy FX. Maybe the wind rushed up her blouse?

Yeah, I'm voting wind or Photoshop there -- if they were going to fake a pregnancy, surely Tom Cruise knows makeup people who could do a better job than that.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I think it's the wind that makes that pic look particularly roundly fake, but no weight gain anywhere just looks freaky.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now you don't have to be dead (or dismembered) to be a diamond.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The image of two people kissing with that diamond between their lips is particularly skeevy given the tagline about making them from pet hair.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I actually thought KH looked a little puffier than usual cheek/face wise. Still thin as all get out, but a little puffier.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's still there, too, though now you have to click the "more sci tech video" tab.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Very interesting discussion. I left the office just as it started, and stewed in a crazy fucking funk my whole ride home.

This is reason #589742 why. It makes it very hard to think that good men, who don't view women as a collection of holes to fuck or flesh to punch, aren't a minority. I hate feeling that way about half the human race. But then, there's gangrapes and stonings and abortions outlawed in the US! And a debate that still goes about whether it is women who should stay home with the baby and somehow fathers never figure into it.

In this Allyson and I are one. I am increasingly failing to find the words to process the misogeny in this world and am becoming, slowly, more and more misanthropic. I am trying to find ways to channel my anger into something productive, but it gets harder and harder.

Anyway. It was kind of a weird relief to read that I'm not the only one. I gotta go to bed. Sleep, that's where I'm a Viking!

Awesome discussion though.
