Natter 43: I Love My Dead Gay Whale Crosspost.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I just reminded myself that, yes, I can cook and cook well. Happy tummy followed by watching the next three episodes of Dr. Who.
But it does make me sad about Lindsay Lohan.
So much does really... Or is that scared of her? One of them.
Framing is scary expensive. I have something I need to take in but I am just not ready to part with the money. And it has no place on my walls currently. Good framing, however, is amazing and elevates pieces.

This I can't deny. I'm not very good at that sort of composition, but I'm pretty happy with what I'm ending up with.
Liking the end result is the most important thing. Well, once you've decided to pay for it, at least.
ita, what are we watching on BBCA these days? My teevee forgot everything when I moved, so now I am reminding it.
I spent about $1K on getting 4 pieces frames. I gulped, swallowed and said ok because they were originals done by a childhood friend and I didn't want them ruined.
Right now, I still have 2 smallish easy frames and one honking old korean watercolor(hibiscus, bees and swallows. I'd love to have a room themed with it) to frame. The latter...that's going to be a doozy. I'd like to have it matted with a peach sloughy silk, but I don't know HOW to manage it. It is at leat 30 years old, painted for a dear friend, gifted to my family. And it lives in a tube right now!
I spent an alarming part of the day on a wild goose chase to replace an appliance that burst into flame. Of course, the last place I tried had it.

Hmm. I'm watching The Vice, which should be pretty easy to get into midstream. Sea of Souls is good--so far they're repeating what I've already seen, but it's nice paranormal detective stuff. Second Sight is airing--that's marvellous. Teachers is coming on--that's fun. I notice Red Cap which is military mystery. I recommend that too. Okay, I skimmed the listing and don't see any The Vice. It was a pretty short series run.
I'm having a burgundy/black/gold print with elephants done with a sliver of gold matting, then black suede and a distressed gold frame. The much more electric avocados painted on silk is getting a damned expensive mahogany frame that's interesting in and of itself, but no matting.

Well, really, would you have recommended keeping looking after you'd found it?
Ooh, those sound pretty.
This has got to be a joke, and it's hilarious. Life lessons from TLC like, "Merlot and email don't mix" and "Turn off the TV before getting intimate." Heh.
I'm watching the Surreal Life, and it cracks me up how on board everyone is with Alexis as "one of the girls." I don't think I knew (s)he was transgendered in real life!
Yeah, but kmart was last on my list of likelihoods! I drove 40 miles today.
I don't think I knew (s)he was transgendered in real life!
The first thing I knew about her was that she was transgendered. I still don't know anything else, except for her family tree.
kmart was last on my list of likelihoods!
Fair enough. That place still skeeves me.
I thought that was just a character in The Wedding Singer. I have also now seen naked pictures of him. I feel safe saying "him" in relation to these pictures.

Did you google? But according to a transgendered relative, one shouldn't use the birth gender, even in relation to pre-trans events. However, that might be just how my relative prefers it and not a general thing.
