What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, I bought that book for Gus. And then some friends bought me a copy for x-mas. A damn funny book.

YAY for shrift DAY! everyone should have bacon!

JZ has today off (Cesar Chavez Day), and since my schedule is free we are going out to have breakfast. I shall eat my bacon in honor of shrift and cheer her escape velocity.

Hec, what reason did they give you for termination?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

From last night:

I guess my bite is kind of fucked up, which has lead to some problems getting fillings to fit right. But no dentist has ever mentioned it as a problem. Huh.

When I went in for my 6-month checkup with my new dentist (first time I saw him was last fall), he gave me the standard "You Must Floss" lecture. Then he ran his hands over my cheeks and jaws while I opened and closed my mouth, and he asked about the click that happens when I open my mouth all the way. It's happened for as long as I can remember, but he was the first one to ask about it. He said it wasn't a problem as long as it wasn't a recent development, and wasn't surprised that it happens, because my upper jaw is more U-shaped, but my lower jaw is square. As long as it doesn't lock open or hurt when it clicks, I'm okay.

Excellent!

Yes. I have written my letter of resignation. I just have to print it, sign it, and...

...figure out if I'm going to corner Big Boss and my immediate supervisor boss, or if I should just go with Big Boss.
