You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

You know we're never going to believe you heightwise again, and that Hec's checking off "height issues" in your file right now.

Nutty looks to be about 5'7" to me. I think the problem here is that flea was a jealous child, and wanted to ensure that she always had the upper hand over her wee sister. I wouldn't be surprised if she was slipping Nutty coffee as a baby, deliberately trying to stunt her growth.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it is re-revealed that ita is the same height as me (or if you believe my sister, taller)

Uh, I'm 5'8. Taller than you either way. And wearing 3" heels today. I'm flea-sized! Which looks way weird in print.

"Walk" however, is WAY to prosaic.

Hey, I call it a pimp walk because it's called a pimp walk.

I wouldn't be surprised if she was slipping Nutty coffee as a baby, deliberately trying to stunt her growth.

And swinging her leg over the bairn's head, I'm sure.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh no oh no. I am calling my bookie. Put twenty on cheetah!

Mostly lurking...

They ask for an assload of detail.

Yes. I remember her saying that...although, she didn't use the world assload.

Oh! I thought of a question--is she a member of PMI? If so (or not) why?

I've asked her. I'll let you know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse is like a yard taller than I am.

Nah -- just 3".

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Pah. We have this discussion every six months, when it is re-revealed that ita is the same height as me (or if you believe my sister, taller). Also, I think ita can actually wear most kinds of high heels, which I can't any more.

Yeah, but ita is short, even in high heels.

ita is not tall. It's a whole different vibe.

She's taller than me! I just say 5' 6" even though I'm not, actually (about a quarter inch under.) Just easier. But I'm usually wearing at least 2 inch heels during the week and an inch or so unless I'm at home so basically, whatever I say? Is a vague estimate.

First time someone I work with saw me when I was wearing flats, her greeting was "You're short!" Which was funny because she's shorter than me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Last year, I got a pair of actually flat flats, and it was funny how people thought I was short wearing them. I feel like the boots I'm wearing now are "flats," but really they have like an inch and a half of heel.
