Something about the tunnels in Bones last night bugged me. And I think I've found the source of my skepticism. DC is notoriously swampy. I am skeptical about any Civil War era underground vaults, not to mention an abandoned network of tunnels. It's not a big deal, there was just some mental dissonance.
On the flipside, this LJ showed up with a word of warning:
Eh, there's no doubt that Pine Ridge has and has had its problems. But, I don't know, anonymous "they're all crooks and anyway this will make the people of SD hunt them down in the streets" doesn't mean so much to me.

She is a politician, and therefore makes enemies and puts up with bureaucratic crap, but I definitely admire the boldness and intention, even if she can't do it with a wave of her hand.

Tresa Waggoner, the Bennett School District music teacher put on paid leave for showing a video clip of the opera Faust, said Thursday that she's looking for a new job.
Waggoner, placed on leave Jan. 30, said she called superintendent George Sauter on Thursday after a local newspaper reported that she would not be allowed to return to the classroom.

Ummm.... Talk about missing the point. That's like all the people who would rant about there being backwards satanic messages in "Hotel California." Hello? Did you listen to the song forwards?
Yes, the play contains references to Satan. HE'S THE BAD GUY.
