Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Good luck with the nerve block, and the hamburgers, ita.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Crazy state legislators proposing stupid bills are nothing new; have you met these people?

You and Nutty are right. My sense of perspective has just gotten ground down in recent days/weeks, and I get so easily 'splodey.

t sigh

Must work on that or I won't last much longer!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Fortunately, my blood sugar is so low right now (haven't stopped moving since I got to work this morning, just now sat down to lunch at 2:15) that the right-wing crazies barely register. I'm functioning in a blurry fog of to-do lists right now.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I hope you all are right about the bill not passing. I've become a little pessimistic.

It won't pass. Remember this is a state that came very close to having a democratic governer even though the guy elected governer was the one in charge of the election.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Gud, I'm holding you to that. :-)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Remember this is a state that came very close to having a democratic governer even though the guy elected governer was the one in charge of the election.

They also voted for a dead guy for senator instead of John Ashcroft.

Nutty - Mar 03, 2006 9:27:21 am PST #1229 of 10001
"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

And wasn't it Missouri that elected a dead guy over John Ashcroft?

Somebody out thataway's got some sense, and Gud can't cast that many votes himself, can he??

ETA: Ha!! Dead guy x-post!!!

Yay nerve block!

The reason they want to move? So they can own property.

My friend's husband found a new job that is in a place with a lower cost of living (and they lived there before and liked it), better schools, a shorter commute, people he's worked with before and likes, and even though she has to leave her job here, they come out financially ahead with this move. It's a no-brainer.

Hmph.
