I think Jorge turned up in Swordheart when Halla and the guy in the sword stopped at an inn and there were some paladins of the Dreaming God and one was injured; she treated his wound and he (all of them?) went with them and helped them with the priests of the Hanged Mother. I think ... obviously ANOTHER re-read is needed.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
That's what I remember, Toddson, also that Jorge was flirting pretty heavily with Halla at some point.
I'm just so tickled that she's taken this idea of playing around with the Romance with Brooding Paladin idea that she came up with while playing video games and turned it into a full on series (and whatever you want to call Clocktaur Wars and The Wonder Engine) and it's so good!
I loved it and I’m going back to reread the others. I’m glad it looks like we’ll get more in this world. I hope they have more Zale.
I love all these books! I was thrilled when the latest popped up on my Kindle.
More Zale would be good ... maybe a romance for them? or someone to figure out how to keep their hair from getting in the way.
I think Jorge automatically flirts. Period.
Listened to The Thursday Murder Club and The Man Who Died Twice on Fay’s recommendation elsewhere (she specifically recced the narrator as giving the line readings she would, so I was certainly going to pay attention to that!) and the second one just ended and I am a little bereft. The mysteries are quite good, and the characters are terrific and there’s some really nice treatment of grief and trauma and morality in an overall very pleasant package. If you like that sort of thing you will probably like these.

Oddly enough, I was just discussing Only Murders in the Building with my college roommate yesterday and she recommended those books to me based on our conversation. I hadn't heard of them before.
Well, I'm now 99th on 6 copies of "The Thursday Murder Club" at my public library. Apparently other people have heard that it is good also.
I've had it downloaded for ages because I love Richard Osman. Sounds like I should get to it soon.
I hadn't heard of it before, and I was only vaguely aware of Richard Osman. I guess the second one set some kind of record for sales? Something.
Anyway, haven't seen Only Murders in the Building yet but from the ads I can see where there might be kinship
