Wait. People? She eats people? 'To Serve Man.' It's 'To Serve Man' all over again.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

If you go home with somebody and they don’t have books, don’t fuck them.

This gives me hope of someday, somehow, getting some. Assuming the converse is true ....

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Apparently rereading books can be good for your mental health.

Jesus, my insomania and depression should be FULLY cured, by that standard. I re-read like a mofo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

There have been times when rereading has been all that stood between me and the abyss. I also believe in C.S. Lewis' theory that we power through some books to find out what happened, and on rereading can appreciate the nuances.

Or lend them one of yours. Who knows what could happen?

Imagine if they don't have a stereo, or a wall full of records or CDs!

All my CDs are in the basement or hidden in drawers, I hope people don't think I don't like music. I do have a wall of books, though.
