There have been times when rereading has been all that stood between me and the abyss. I also believe in C.S. Lewis' theory that we power through some books to find out what happened, and on rereading can appreciate the nuances.

THE HORROR.
All my CDs are in the basement or hidden in drawers, I hope people don't think I don't like music. I do have a wall of books, though.

I don't think I've ever been dissuaded from having sex with someone by having a look around their home, but in at least a couple cases what I saw determined whether or not there would be a repeat performance.
