I found the rest of the Skulduggery Pleasant books (4-6, that's it, right?)
Yup, so far. SHIT GETS REAL. Okay, real-er.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Man, shit's been pretty real all along. But that's a big part of what I like about it, so more real-er is more better. Or something.
Teppy!
I was so disappointed today -- I caved and ordered a used copy of the next Luxe book. And UPS came and had what looked like a book for me -- and it was a different book I won in a blogger contest. Argh.
I didn't love Discovery of Witches.
My mom's going to read A Discovery of Witches first, so maybe I'll wait and see what she thinks. She's pretty new to the paranormal stuff, but she's eating it up like crazy. She's on the third book of Libba Bray's series, and adoring it.
Aaaugh, the release date for the next (and final!) Parasol Protectorate book has been pushed back to March. Nooo, I need it sooner!
(We will not discuss the size of my to-be-read stack right now. I should stop wallowing in ridiculous Anne Rice vampire fluff and read something new.)
How is Luxe? It sounded like you guys are really enjoying it, but it had a ton of negative reviews on Amazon. I read the first chapter (basically a funeral/introduction of peeps) and it didn't grad me, but I don't know if I want to pay $7.99 and my library has it as an audio book, not kindle.
I am such a bad ebook user. I only purchase ebook versions of things I've read before.
The Luxe books are cracky popcorn for Edith Wharton junkies. The writing's not *bad* and it's pure costume drama and soap opera. Quick, fun reads.

Like Water for Elephants
is the first full new-to-me book I've read on the Kindle, and I'm not minding it at all, which surprised me.
Oh, I love reading on the Kindle app; I've got it on all of my devices. It's just that I'm only willing to plunk down money for ebooks if I know I already like them. The last ebook I bought was Night Circus.
