I liked the show at first(and it got me to read the books, which were quite different...first time I learned that, too) But as the original cast got older, it seemed more like "What Was Michael Landon Worried About This Week?" And that's much less fun when you're eleven.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
1) Unconscious during the day
Dracula himself wasn't unconscious during the day. I think he says, in the book, roughly, "It's always daylight somewhere, the sun merely robs me of my special powers."
Deviations from these standards should require an explanation, such as gypsy curse.
I think that one has been played out.
Can Ryan Gosling play Finnick, or am I just susceptible to the hype?
I think he's a little too old. And not at all the way I pictured Finnick, much as I love the Gosling.
He's a little older than I pictured Finnick, but I'm all for it.
WHO THEN????
I think it'll be a difficult casting decision. I mean, he's basically described as being the Hottest Tribute EVAR. People will be having ridiculously high expectations.
Was he dark-haired? I pictured him dark-haired. I'm thinking of one guy, but I have to look him up. Ethan Peck.
Also, ita, an email to you just bounced.
I pictured him dark-haired too, but I don't know if he was actually described as such or if my brain just made a super handsome = dark haired link.
Ethan Peck is certainly good looking! Well chosen, Amy.
