Jilli loves the Lilo & Stitch but it upsets her so much that we hardly ever watch it.
Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
"Help. I'm lost."
"This is my family. I found it all on my own. It's little and broken...but still good. Yeah. Still good."
So very much this. So. Very. This.
I haven't watched it since I moved here, because I did leave a large part of my family behind. I've found new family here in SF, and I have you peeps, but.... Still good.

It's not that it ... upsets me, it's just that I start crying during parts of it, and sometimes I don't feel like crying while watching a movie. But I do love it.
Poppycock. If it was a mere eye-weepage you wouldn't be so hesistant. It really gets to you, I can tell.
Maybe you need cheering up.
BEEP!
Did that help?

nods furiously.
Yes. This.
In my first class here, I bought my kids lots of books for the classroom 'cause we didn't have any freaking reading scheme. And one of them was a wee Ladybird edition of Lilo and Stitch. And one of them was all 'read it to us, miss!', and I had to explain that I couldn't, because I would cry and cry and cry. (There are lots of poems I simply can't read to kids, even though they're very good, because they BREAK me.) Malak, my cleverest, most thoroughly splendid wee Hermione of a student, took great delight in chasing me around the room and reading the ending bit to me in an evil bid to make me cry.
Peev's evdorable.
OK, I can top y'all for Embarrassing Sap factor, on The Sopranos last week, Tony's boss, Johnny Sack, danced with his exceedingly homely daughter to "Daddy's Little Girl" and fucking killed me.cheap sentiment, and a dad awaiting trial on forty-two RICO predicates, but I still went for it...something about her being so plain, but yet her dad would just dare anyone to say his Allegra wasn't the most beautiful thing ever... strangest places I feel that particular deficiency. Sad when your dad is worse than a mob boss, but in the light of day? Silly, huh>
Did that help?
No, strangely. No! Don't try it again!
I want a cupcake. That would make my day better.
It really gets to you, I can tell.
Of course it does! Weird little girl and her pet monster!
Hey, Fay! So, I see you're unsure what you'll do if your boss refuses to let you come. I say come here, then couch-hop around the U.S. until it's time to fly to your new job.
Okay, it's not very realistic, but it is a GREAT idea.
I can make it drily through all of Lilo & Stitch except for the surfing scene.
