Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Okay, I have to buckle down and get some work done. Since this work needs to be done on the Internet, I'ma have to shut down all distraction sites so I can concentrate on what I'm *supposed* to be doing. See y'all later. Have a great Sunday.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

She's always doing that to fortune cookies as well.

Oh, HAR. You know *I'm* going to start doing this. And then please kill me.

But, yeah, vw, good call.

I think Emily has worked too hard today and is losing her mind.

She's cracking herself up over here, 'cause she's reading fortune cookies.

Someone save me from the insanity.

My iPod played "Living Dead Girl" for me while I was at the gym,* which made me think of S1 Angel, and Faith in particular, so I'm watching 5 x 5. And I miss good TV. I really dig Veronica Mars, but it's not the same.

*(SA, I feel I should mention that "House Rules" is a kickass workout song.)

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Oooh! Fortune cookies!

At my place of work, one of my colleagues (and I wish it weren't inappropriate for me to mention her by name, because she has THE best name I've ever heard on anyone - it's the kind of name a Drag Queen would pick out for herself, it's just FanTAStic) has started a small business doing breakfast burritos every Thursday (which is our equivalent of Friday). You can order them up front, and she sells them for 20LE (about a dollar thirty?) a pop. Which is a big mark up, but all the profits are going towards the Hurricane Katrina fund - so we're giving to charity AND getting delicious breakfasty goodness out of it. It rocks.

Anyway, last week, she made them into Fortune Burritos. Apparently I have a glittering career as a forger lying before me.

Ah, the standard AtS Rainy Alley of Redemption....

t edit Dude. Plei, amych, SA (and other Bat-fans) -- I just realized -- the Rainy Alley of Redemption in 5 x 5 is pretty much the moment that Wes went from being Tim Drake to being Jason Todd. Daaaaaamn.
