And while I am complaining about bad doctors. MIL had surgery and radiation for uterine cancer and is generally recovered well, except that she developed a hernia from the surgery. She asked the doctor about that and the doctor dismissed it saying she didn't want to have surgery after radiation and to wear the elastic belt thing and don't lift stuff.
She was not accepting this answer because she is only 61 and figures to have quite a bit of lifting left in her life. She asked the ER doc and he said by all means she should get surgery for it.
She asked why they were giving her valium. In case she is anxious. Good grief. She won't bother to fill that one.
Then she should give it to you in case this every happens again. Yeesh. Glad she is okay. Boggled the Dr. didn't think to tell her not to drive herself.

Oooh OOOH! Just talked with the parentals and dad is planning a trip out here in June to take me to the Champ Car races! I was going to
try
and thieve him for the weekend but since it will be Father's Day, I wasn't sure if it would work. I am doing a giddy dance. Happy birthday to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE (Okay, the race is a day or two before my birthday, but it's really really close.) Ooooh ooooh!
Yay Dad! You are so cute when you do the giddy dance.
So tired I can barely type. I think I'll watch the VM tape but it's unlikely I'll see the end.
{{Laura}} I am glad your MIL is ok.
Yay, Cass! I hope you have fun. You have a good dad.
Yay Dad!
He really is a good dad.
And race weekends, especially when I lived in Phoenix, were always the one time where he and I got to spend a lot of time together. It led to some really amazing conversations that we don't really get the chance to have at big family dinners and stuff.
So, yeah, I'm all giddy and goofy.
Nightly progress report - CJ's computer and bunk bed are now upstairs. Some of his toys have made the journey.
Tomorrow - his dresser and hopefully the rest of his toys. I'm trying to make this an opportunity to weed through his stash of stuff.
I will be SO happy when we are done shifting everything. I don't think I can handle another day like today. Speaking of which - THANK YOU to everyone here for the support today.
::cough::
I am still bedazzled and swoony in the glow of Morrissey.
::ahem::

You can mix Advil with Tylenol.
