[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yum.

When are you going to come out here?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I'm really hoping to come out the Monday after the F2F. But the plane fare's a tetch high, so I don't know how feasible it will actually be. It would be like my graduation gift to myself, though.

Oh, if you can swing it, that would be really cool. You can stay with me, if you don't mind being that far out of the city.

Thank you! The Zmayhem house has offered sanctuary as well, so I might split my theoretical time between multiple places, if folks wanna see me.

Trust my rage

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes. I've had a (cup)cake, so I think that counts. We had a nice dinner at the house of our friends. I didn't have to cook and we had ice cream so it was a fun time.

GC, that letter is crazy late. What's the postmark on it? (I was sort of wondering if they just forgot to send it?)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

*sheepish*

Am home again. The massage helped some. I bought some of those heat-sticky-things and have one attached to my shoulder.

I stopped on the way home and I now own The Gay Cowboy Movie. This makes me happy.

Any localistas wanna do something Friday night?

eta - the massage relaxed my brain beyond spelling...

Well, I do want to see you, but I would also understand if you don't want to come out to the boonies, and I will see you when you are here, regardless (even if JZ tries to put me on a time table or something).

eta: I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, Suzi.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay for a massage, Suzi! I'm glad you're feeling better.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I stopped on the way home and I now own The Gay Cowboy Movie. This makes me happy.
Just ordered my copy and the Indian novel that is the sequel to one I just finished. This makes me happy. It's not instant gratification, but then again, I haven't remembered to pick the book up for a week already so I am getting used to the delay.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday Stephanie!

Glad the massage helped SuziQ. (Love the name change!)

Long day. I had so much work to do and didn't get any of it done.

Morning was delayed because I had a 10am doctor visit. He numbed my cheek and took a bit to test for bad skin stuff. Whatever. It did make my day start at noon though.

Drove to my project in Miami and started my work day at 1, then at 1:30 MIL called and said she was on her way to the ER. She was feeling very weak and dizzy and stuff last night and went to her doctor this morning. She saw another doctor in the same office and he told her she might be having TIAs (stroke) and she should go to the ER. He never asked if she was alone, she was. He never asked how she might get there, she drove. If he thought she was having a stroke why would he let her drive to the ER alone. Grrrrrr

Our theory is that he was busy and just pushing her off as someone else's problem. After chest x-ray, brain scan, blood tests, chest ct, etc. it is decided that she has vertigo. Scripts for something for the vertigo, and valium. She asked why they were giving her valium. In case she is anxious. Good grief. She won't bother to fill that one.

Got home 5 minutes before Lost. Gave the kids fast food from Arby's and collapsed. Also, my cheek is sore.
