Spike: Ladies. Come on in. Plenty of blood in the fridge, don't be shy. Dawn: You mean like, real blood? Spike: What do you think? Dawn: Mostly I think, 'Eew!'

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Okay, It was a liver dump. When I checked my glucose at 10 am, it was 156, a bit high, but I figured liver dumpage during the 10 hour sleep, fine, I'd go drive andi to the stylist, then we'd get groceries and gasoline, then come home and have a meal and I'd be fine. I came back after that and my glucose was the aforereported 159.

Then I ate two big bowls of chili, a huge strawberry, a cup of low-carb ice cream (at least 8 g sugars there) and settled in for my day off.

About an hour later, I checked my glucose. 110.

I'm thinking I had two of those liver dumps. Wheee.

So I just ate three large strawberries, some low but still-carby non-sugar sugar wafers and a couple of lowcarb graham crackers.

We'll see if that's enough to restore my reserve tanks.....

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yay, that's really great news about you and your Mom, vw! Maybe April will help pull this sorry excuse for a year out of the hellmouth it seemed to be heading towards.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Excellent news, vw. About bloody time.

Herding cats for fun

Sneaks into thread to complain of unending rain. Take that, JZ's arbitrary weather-whine deadline! Go ahead and fire paperwork at me, I have the recycling bin right here and I'm not afraid to use it.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

And you got to see Butterstick!

Wha?

I'm really tempted to go out and walk around a bit.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Okay, so having kids work in groups? HARD. Also, possibly not really worth it at this point.

What is even happening?

I hate working in groups. You always get stuck with the kid who doesn't want to do anything, and/or the kid who insists on doing everything. I never got anything out of it except a hatred for humankind.

I also say there is NO EDUCATIONAL VALUE IN MAKING A DIORAMA!

Fight the power.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

NO EDUCATIONAL VALUE IN MAKING A DIORAMA!

Training for the all-important future life skill of "what do I do with this shoebox that I stupidly stuck on the top shelf of the closet, thinking it would be a shame to throw it away"?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Training for the all-important future life skill of "what do I do with this shoebox that I stupidly stuck on the top shelf of the closet, thinking it would be a shame to throw it away"?

Pfft. The correct answer to that is "Story Penzeys spices in it."
