Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That is good news!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

All right, vw! That's great news. I hope it's the start of a trend.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'm pretty sure I didn't savage any of the new baby tiger lilies coming up, but some of the wooden blocky things that bordered the flower bed came out.

S'okay. I'm going to replace them with edging, anyway.

ION, I worked ANOTHER ten hours yesterday, but that was okay, because Andi was waiting for me when I got home, and it was nice to not come home to an empty house.

Then I went to bed a bit later, and slept for 10 hours straight, not even getting up for the bathroom.

I guess I was tired.

Also, if it'd been 13 hours since I ate, my blood glucose should not have been 156 a bit ago, dammit. Must have had a liver dump. Or two.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hooray for a good day... boy, you needed one! Make that, like one hundred. In a row. Followed by 100 more.

What Nora said. Yay vw and vw's mom!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, vw, that's fantastic news!

Perkins, no no no. The deadline was a seasonal deadline, not a daily one; I'm not sure about beth, but I know for a fact that Hec has been bitching about the rotten weather since February. If you can provide written proof (in triplicate) of having previously bitched about the rotten weather, then you're in the clear. Although any bacon-related incidents are still all your fault.

And there is no good news deadline. That would just be silly.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Chiming in with more Yays for vw and the mombug. Great news!

Dang, I wanna know how everyone gets such cheap airfares. It's my hair isn't it? I knew I should have gone blonde last year.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I generally don't bitch about the weather - it isn't CT weather. However, this rain is too much - it should be tapering off , we should not be looking at the hills and wondering if they are going to fall on us.

Really good news, vw! all around hoorays.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh! and Andi and I went to the grocery store on the other side of town a bit ago. They had 16 ounce bottles of Wishbone Carb Options Blue Cheese salad dressing for $1.39. Both Andi and myself like blue cheese, so I bought six. After checkout I read the slip, and they were priced $2.59 each. I said "Waitaminute!" and the clerk ran to check out the shelf.

She came back and said "You were wrong...." Then smiled and said, "no. you were right," and got the manager.

It turns out that they have a policy about refunding the total price of the product when the scanner is found to be wrong. Not just on one, but how many were rung in wrong.

I got $15 and change back. Wooot!
