Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It's all relative...

Its YOUR relatives, dear

Art Crawl!!!

I need somebody to "remind" me that I need to do my back exercises. I've been neglecting them and the result: ouchy back.

A friend of mine had nephews visiting and they demanded grapples. Grapples are a freaky combination of apple and grape. She didn't find any 'til after the nephews were gone. She says that they smell and taste weirdly like very sweet grape juice.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cass, I would probably just chicken out and just sign the card without saying anything else in it.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Literal unconsciousness. Or, if you prefer, Absolut Denial.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I don't know if its possible to drink enough for that to work.

A friend of mine now living in Chicago is in town and staying with me this weekend. We've had two conversations comparing the crazy in our respective families and in-laws (ex- in my case). As I pointed out to him, while my family is large with the crazy, there's a big difference between crazy siblings and crazy parents.

Certainly not without a liver transplant.

Maybe we can just get you an extra liver to carry around in a tote bag?

Can I just put it in my purse and carry it around?

I should go make a salad.
