Jimmy Olsen jokes're pretty much gonna be lost on you, huh?

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

that's great, kristin.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Kristin, that's awesome! Even if the cancelling was a PITA, better to be safe than sorry.

Cass, if I remember your sister's situation, that does not seem like the thing to be doing right now. Oy.

The status is NOT quo.

Holy shit! Cass, that's...um. Wow. Are you okay?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah. You remember correctly...

I am baffled, boggled and not surprised. Of course when she got pregnant with the nephlet it was in much worse circumstances so I am certain I will love being an aunt again.

Fuck.

I am tempted to call my parents just to hear stepmom rant, or see if she just bites her lip. Well and I need to call them anyway.

And glad you found your wallet, Kristin. That must be such a relief.

Yay for your wallet, Kristin!! Yay!

All is well that ends in pizza.

I had this quote saved yesterday, forgot to post it:

I have been thinking that I would make a proposition to my Republican friends... that if they will stop telling lies about the Democrats, we will stop telling the truth about them.
Adlai E. Stevenson Jr. (1900 - 1965), Speech during 1952 Presidential Campaign

Sister: "Sometimes god works in mysterious ways, mom."

Mom: "That's not god, Jenny. That's having unprotected sex."

Our wings are not tired.

Ouch! looks for protective gloves No more injuries!

Yay for honest people! What a relief Kristin.

Yikes Cass. That's an um interesting development.

My husband lost his phone. Not just his phone, his $600 has all his info sync'd from his computer phone. I just cancelled it. I was hoping it was just lost, but the Sprint guy said it has been used on the internet as recently as yesterday and he hasn't seen it since Wednesday night. Poop. He's out of town for another week so he took a phone from the person he's travelling with since she had both her business and personal cell with her. Poop.

At least he hooked up with a friend that used to live in Florida and is staying with him and his family in Houston the next 3 days instead of a hotel. Yay! And Sheila is staying with friends of hers in Houston too so they have a break from each other when they aren't working. Not that they don't get along, but this is a 9 day trip and that's a long time to hang with a co-worker.

Damn. Just damn. I'm glad that he gets to hang with friends and get a change of people to be around at least. Losing something like that just shows how dependent we can be on bits of technology...

I am still boggled at the family news. Flying home for Easter just got a lot more interesting.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Some people need to be put out of OUR misery. From thesmokinggun.com

FEBRUARY 17--This country, as you know, is filled with the deranged. And then there's Travis Frey, a 33-year-old Iowa man who is facing charges that he tried to kidnap his own wife (not to mention a separate child pornography rap). Frey, prosecutors contend, apparently is a rather demanding guy. In fact, he actually drew up a bizarre four-page marriage document--a "Contract of Wifely Expectations"--that sought to establish guidelines for his spouse in terms of hygiene, clothing, and sexual activities. >[link]

On behalf of intelligent men everywhere, I just want to disavow any association with this cro-magnon....wait, I apologize to the cro-magnons.
