Taxes are the dark side of self-employment.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sent off two job applications today. They're just for summer, but still more than I've done in a number of years.
I've started my taxes, but I haven't had a good chunk of time to do them yet so I'm still on schedule D (I start with schedule D).
I finished our taxes a couple of weeks ago, and paid out over $3K to Uncle Sam and Uncle Arnold. Some of it was checks for 2006 estimated taxes, but still. I could have bought a lot of hookers a lot of face cream.
Heh. "Uncle Arnold"
I spent yesterday (when not dining with the urbane Sparky) going through loads of loose papers to find my medical receipts in prep for taxes. I didn't get far. Found lots of 2004. Not so much 2005. I hate living on a construction site.
Bless my Aunt T because she does my taxes for me every year.
Tax money has already been received and spent, actually. Bills, bills, bills. For some crazy and insane reason, I decided early last year to cut up my credit cards (I know I won't call to order new cards) and do my best to pay them off as soon as I can.
Living beyond your means is only fun until reality comes crashing down on you. The terribly scary part is that I don't have a whole lot to show for all of the debt I have. (House doesn't count.)
Huh. I really need to do my taxes too. (I still have to file in the US.) I'd better make sure I have all the paperwork together.
Oh. Oh. I just got an email from the Wallybee. While I was away at my sister's wedding over the weekend, she found that she was missing me more than she realised. She thinks she's fallen in love with me.
I'm tearing up here.
Yay! Well, as much as I've interacted with you online, you seem like a helluva catch, bt.

I'm certainly over the size limit.
