Wash: Were I unwed, I would take you in a manly fashion. Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty? Wash: 'Cause you're pretty.

'Heart Of Gold'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Sail, what is the name of her nursing home?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Heartland Health Care Center on Huron River Dr. It's a very nice place, I'm quite impressed with it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

It is a good one.

(I used to work in that industry, in that area of Michigan. Stay away from Bortz. Bad stuffs.)

The status is NOT quo.

BAH Katie. Suckage.

YAY SA! Go you and your bad writing self!

In meme news, I am alone in an office that normally holds 20 people. Some are teaching, but I think most skipped out early. If I didn't have a late lunch planned with a colleague teaching this block, I would so be gone right now.

Also, I really wish that I could afford to go back to college for a few years to get my PhD. I was craving it this time last year, too, but then I thought there was some chance I could afford it. Now, nsm.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

MY TIARA IS HERE!

It's absolutely stunning, with what looks like amethysts and rhinestones and I'm not sure where the camera is, but when I find it there will be pictures.

It's so beautiful. I'm seriously stunned by how delicate and pretty it is.

Unfortunately, there was no name of sender in the box. Anyone want to 'fess up? I'd love to throw kisses right at you instead of in your general direction.

Sail, I'm glad your aunt is in a good place and that you got to see her and she knew you. I'm sorry you, she and the rest of the family are having to deal with this.

I'll check under the sink for the joint compound.

I am home, but it just took half an hour for the cable guys to find the box...and now they can't figure out which one is for my apartment. Oy.

Plus, none of the stuff that was supposed to happen at work today (while I was out) that I left specific instructions about, has happened. Good GRIEF. So annoying.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All your Cass are belong to me, or at least to my apartment, where she is, but I am not.

I'm going to Edinburgh for the weekend tomorrow with Thanksgiving Boy. Of course, now is the time when what feels like a small island nation has decided to move into my sinuses. I sneezed 19 consecutive times in a statistics class today. Fun.

I'm getting the pig!

Sail, are you home now or still in Michigan? I'm glad you were able to see your aunt and since there's so many horror stories about dealings in nursing homes, I'm so happy that Aimee confirmed your aunt is in a good one. {{{Sail}}}

possibly the small(ish) island nation you are inhabiting? :)
