Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

But since they're building her place, I guess that makes V the anti-Dent.

until they try to knock it down, anyway.

re: tipping

not sure that the first aid qualifies you to reduce your tip. I think that $5 was perfectly fine, as 10-15% is the norm for hair services.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Take care, shaky Bay Area.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

For me, steriod eating wasn't related to bad food cravings. I didn't crave sweets or salty snacks. I just wanted/needed food and lots of it. 20 pounds of salad? Bring it on.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

vw, I think that the steriods and the diet as a combination might be combining in a way to make your cravings worse. Also, you have been under a lot of stress, so don't be so hard on yourself.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I'm actually halfway impatient to feel my first quake in SF.

I've lived in San Diego over 30 years (my whole life). I don't know how many earthquakes I've lived through. Number of quakes I've felt? One. Supposedly huge one in '83 or so. Maybe I'm just extra stable (or extra flexible)?

Are people sucking, Empress?

This is more what it is. I'm eating fairly healthy (except for my chocolate/twizzlers binge last night :))...just a lot. Today I've had oatmeal, banana, sandwhich, chips, pasta. I just feel like I need to keep eating. I don't get full, although, I do get uncomfortable.

Tutoring student showed up on time! Go girl!

And now, I'm off to work. Wish me luck. Or something.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

People are sucking beyond belief and I'm frustrated because it is so hard just to get one teeny tiny thing to happen that makesmy life here so fucking easier.

Yes, this. I was amazed at the volume of food I could eat and not feel full. I don't know how that happened.

{{Aimee}} I am so sorry. Want me to smack some people? Hard?

What is it I want? Info on a floppy. Yes, it's on the network. I know that. But it is easier to transfer the info from that form to this other form if it is on floppy without having to toggle back and forth to folders and sheets and searching and GAH!

When I asked for the info to be on the floppy THREE WEEKS AGO I was told, "Yeah. No problem." Now, it's being put on the network. BIG PROBLEM.
