What is it I want? Info on a floppy. Yes, it's on the network. I know that. But it is easier to transfer the info from that form to this other form if it is on floppy without having to toggle back and forth to folders and sheets and searching and GAH!
When I asked for the info to be on the floppy THREE WEEKS AGO I was told, "Yeah. No problem." Now, it's being put on the network. BIG PROBLEM.
AND AND AND one of our BIG vendors brought me an oputstanding invoice for $55k that's dated AUGUST 2005!! "Hi. 2006 Budget? Meet Bubba. He's gonna fuck you. No prob, right? Great. Here's some KY and porn. Nevermind. That's excessive. Give me back the KY."
Ok. Rice Krispie treat had.
Yeah comfort eating!
Holy hell, I used to hate when previous year monetary issues popped up in the current year at my last job. That's very much of the suck, Aims, especially when it's a large amount. Grrrr!
The bigger issue is that this is the second year in a row that they have done this to us. My ops director about went through the roof.
Repeat offenders are the fecking worst EVAH! Stabbityystabstab is right. If you think you're going to still be working there this time next year, you might be able to write out a letter to the jerk-off stating that this is the last year you will be able to work with him and that next year he's shit out of luck. I got away with it a few times at previous job.
Ops Director is sending the contract out to bid sooner than it expires, which pleases me to no end. It's our monthly engineering contract. We spent $2.5 million with them last year. You;d think they would not piss us off.
I missed the earth shaking - darn it.
K-Bug has her first JV game of the year this afternoon. Hopefully the weather will hold. This is just pre-season stuff.
I can already tell it is going to be an INTERESTING season. Some of the girls who made Varsity should clearly be on JV, and vice versa. There is one specific freshman who made the Varsity team, lets call her Whiner, who absolutely does not belong there.
Am trying to ignore the steriod/food discussion as that described about 3 years and 100 lbs of my life. But I could breath - oh boy.
Hey Aimee - I know some engineers in your building.....
Not those kind of engineers. The kind that keep the place cool and warm and dry and the stuff working.
