This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Woohoo! LAND SURFING!

I usually end up over-tipping, so I'm not real helpful with the advice on that one.

I pretty much tip everybody I should tip 20%. The math is easier for me and I don't have to keep seperate accepted tip percentages in my head! I'm very lazy.

The land moving doesn't freak me out, but this building just sucks for surfing on it.

I'm actually halfway impatient to feel my first quake in SF.

I didn't feel a single one the whole time I lived out there. 5 years. There were a few small ones during that time but I'd always be out of town.

I'm getting the pig!

It was bad enough for me that when I got a root canal and the doc wanted to give me steriods to help heal, I refused them.

I don't blame you! They sound freakin' evil as all get out.

My doc was all "feel free to grab a Motrin from the nurse on the way out."

We share the same dentist, brenda.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

No more shakey, quakey ground!

What Nicole said.

Windsparrow, that tip sounds fine to me, especially since you shouldn't have to tip on hair products you buy, imho, just the services rendered. I usually tip about 15% to my hairstylist.

That's exactly right!

I'm in a concrete warehouse so while I felt the ground shake, it wasn't that rolling sensation you get in a vintage wood building. The windowframes sure made cracking/creaking noises, though.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

My doc was all "feel free to grab a Motrin from the nurse on the way out."

He also gave me a prescription for Vicodin. Hooked me up with the drugs, he did.

The part of the concrete building in which I have an office is circa 1950. One of these days, a nothin' quake is going to send my window flying. I only hope the direction it takes is out towards the dumpsters (of which I have a lovely view) rather than in on me.
