Nothin'. I just wanted you to face me so she could get behind ya.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

you shouldn't have to tip on hair products you buy, imho, just the services rendered.

That's exactly right!

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'm in a concrete warehouse so while I felt the ground shake, it wasn't that rolling sensation you get in a vintage wood building. The windowframes sure made cracking/creaking noises, though.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

My doc was all "feel free to grab a Motrin from the nurse on the way out."

He also gave me a prescription for Vicodin. Hooked me up with the drugs, he did.

Librarian Warlord

The part of the concrete building in which I have an office is circa 1950. One of these days, a nothin' quake is going to send my window flying. I only hope the direction it takes is out towards the dumpsters (of which I have a lovely view) rather than in on me.

This screaming brought to you by the letter "F", as in FUCK OFF and the emotion GOD DAMNED PISSED THE FUCK OFF.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

The best thing I have found to deal with craveings like that is

1) radical acceptance. - they are there, the food is there and you know it is the fault of the drug. ( in my case it is a blood sugar thing if I haven't been eating well) ( they won't put me on anything other than inhaled steroids, because of the fun stuff it does to blood sugar)

2) make a deal - I'll eat good food first then I can have the not so good stuff. and I will not eat anything I don't like.

For me the act of denial makes the physical craveing worse.

I don't know if it will help with steroids - but it does seem to modify they ones I get with blood sugar ( both too high and too low will do it - but the too high one is a false craveing)

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"I'm stuffed up. I should have a cookie" or "Today was absolute hell so I deserve cake" or even "I just tripped over my own feet. I need peanut m&ms."

Heh. Yeah, that is so me unless I actively am trying to resist that.

What's up with all the stabbing? Are you stabbing people with your hobo knife? You OK, Aimee?

2) make a deal - I'll eat good food first then I can have the not so good stuff. and I will not eat anything I don't like.

Yeah, I end up eating a lot of salad this way, and not needing the snack.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Why the stabby, Empress?
