Do you see any goats around? No, because I sacrificed them.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, lisah, what a nightmare. Those poor people.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jess, great hair, definitely worth the effort to find out stylist's name.

{{MG}} pics of CJ - not a trivial post. Is a good thing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

CJ is so cute, and it is always good to see happy pictures.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry about your news, Lisah. That poor family.

Boy wrote back, said I was a "looker." Heh. We'll be in the same city at the same time in about six weeks. This bodes well. Worried for nothing!

Yay! Go you! Heck, go him!

I usually make my next appointment the same day

I've started trying to do this too, at the doctor's--I know that if I find a conflict, I'll call and change it, but if I don't have an appointment, I may never call and set one up.

I just heard from my folks that my sister-in-law's sister's 4-month old baby boy just died today

Oh my god, Lisa, that's so awful. Those poor people.

Punishingly Intricate

thanks for all your condolences.

The parents are in Florida so my sister-in-law and the rest of her family (all in NC) are headed down there this week. My mom's flying down to NC to help my brother with his kids. I at least got to buy my mom's ticket. It's good to be able to do one concrete if very small thing.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm so sorry, lisah. That's just awful.
