The show actually gave reason? Cause I wrote some Lionel/Chloe, way back when, and at the time I don't think they'd ever been in a scene together.
Yeah. My memory is fuzzy because I don't watch that often, but I think Lionel blackmailed Chloe for information on Clark by threatening her father's job. She didn't come through, and her father got fired. It was angsty.
I think. Someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.
And Steph, thanks for the link. Kon looks unfortunately neckless, doesn't he?
Remember the alien tree-cock? Those were the days, huh?
I never have been able to find that discussion in-thread. No idea where it is.
Chloe and Lionel worked together a little for a while, didn't they?
Dana -- wasn't it People's Forum? I know the cocksickle discussion was.

He is kinda neckless, and a wee bit of a tool, but I love him, largely b/c of how he's the most typical "teen," in the generic American teenager sense, of the Teen Titans. He talks like a teen ("Dude -- Batman....YOU....are totally hardcore!" "We're freaking BAD guys!" And my favorite: "Screw that!")
Plus, he and Robin are the ultimate OTP.
The alien cocktree was back on Worldcrossing over in the Spike's Bitches forum --- that's where the Smallville and Due South threads evolved.
I think there was a thread with the alien cock tree reference in it.
I remember the cocktree. It was of the amusing.

Ah, was it in a Bitches thread? Last time it came up, I know I looked in the Smallville threads and the due South threads and the assorted media threads.
The discussion was a thing of beauty. It needs to be metaquoted or something.
I just BRQG'ed and got Tim talking about slashy things that are slashy like a slash.
I was so proud of Dana; she corrupted us, and we corrupted him!
It was in the Smallville thread, but on WX Bitches was seperate from the main Buffista forum.
I remember reading that story (well part) on the mailing list and then seeing the follow up post of "I made a mistake! It should be 15" not 15'!"
