"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

There was a fair bit of fic centered around Lex feeling guilty about lusting after a 15-16 year old.

But it generally didn't stop him from fucking Clark over the pool table. Right? I mean, that's what I remember, but I may just be fondly remembering the early glow of that fandom.

...and this is where I'm TOTALLY open to accusations of total hypocricy, because I really didn't have any big qualms about the Clex at all. I mean, I figured that Lex probably would, because of the age thing, but Tom Welling is MUCH bigger than me, and does not in any way look like an adolescent. At all. Even slightly. (Er. I have this mental thing whereby I think it's pretty much FINE to fancy people who are bigger than me, even if they're much younger than me. This doesn't mean I'm going to hit on them, but I don't angst about fancying them.) And the other glorious thing about Clex, of course, is that Clark could snap Lex like a twig if he wanted to. The balance of power and vulnerability was a glorious thing to behold.

He's a clone (long story involving the Death of Superman and some other shit) who recently discovered that, while half his DNA was that of Superman, the other half came from Lex Luthor.

jaw drops.

You are SHITTING me! They have a canonical lovechild? I'd love to know that it was an MPreg deal, but I'm supposing not.

Aaaaaaaaaand now I miss Smallville.

Sigh. So much pretty. So much slash. So much angst.

edited to add:

...er, was the Perfect Blow Job fic Te's "Deep Throat", by any chance?

(God, I still remember reading I was a Kryptonian's Sex Slave and feeling myself slip further down the ladder to hell with the following bit of Supes-to-Lex dialogue:

"Suck it." Staring down at him like God's own Avatar of Homosexual Rape.

There I was, thinking I was past being shocked, but no. Damn. Those were the days.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

while half his DNA was that of Superman, the other half came from Lex Luthor.

She is not making this up.

Yup. It's actual comics canon, and in fact it looks like a big angsty arc for Superboy, w/r/t his genetic influences, is about to kick into high gear in the comics.

Fay (and anyone else): in every issue of the Teen Titans comic, there are teeny tiny bios of the superheroes, usually on the title page(s), and this is the one -- honest to God -- for Superboy: [link]

Thanks for the links, Fay. I knew there were Te stories I needed to revisit. ETA: And thanks, Steph, too. Awwwww, Clark and Lex spawnage.

Mmm. Now I'm remembering some early Lionel/Chloe, way back before the show gave any reason to write 'em.

Wow. The show actually gave reason? Cause I wrote some Lionel/Chloe, way back when, and at the time I don't think they'd ever been in a scene together.

Ah, those golden days of Smallville. I stopped watching in the second season too, because I got worn out by the writers' Lex-abuse. But I've got it on Netflix now, because... well, because. You understand.

Remember the alien tree-cock? Those were the days, huh?

(Edited, cause either "in season two" or "in the second season too" but not "second season two".)

Yeah. My memory is fuzzy because I don't watch that often, but I think Lionel blackmailed Chloe for information on Clark by threatening her father's job. She didn't come through, and her father got fired. It was angsty.

I think. Someone will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.

And Steph, thanks for the link. Kon looks unfortunately neckless, doesn't he?

I never have been able to find that discussion in-thread. No idea where it is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Chloe and Lionel worked together a little for a while, didn't they?

He is kinda neckless, and a wee bit of a tool, but I love him, largely b/c of how he's the most typical "teen," in the generic American teenager sense, of the Teen Titans. He talks like a teen ("Dude -- Batman....YOU....are totally hardcore!" "We're freaking BAD guys!" And my favorite: "Screw that!")

Plus, he and Robin are the ultimate OTP.
