So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

From the same site with the Bat!HoYay panel: Wonder Woman. Also, I am 12. You will be 12, also. It is inescapable.

Dude. Those were real? I mean, not photoshopped or anything?

Dude.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The repetition makes me suspect that "boner" hadn't entered the popular consciousness with its current meaning at the time those were made. 'Cause, damn, otherwise, Wertham was right.

The "those you've touched" panel is perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, though.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The "those you've touched" panel is perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, though.

Wait, that one was real?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

All of them are real.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

switches off lurking device

There was discussion of "eggcorns" a little ways up, and I was brainwormed with the word until I saw The Eggcorn Database.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Batslash.

edited because I spend five minutes looking up the formatting and skip a double "the"

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Welcome, Ailleann!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Not to mention the botched dialogue attributions.

Okay, now I feel bad -- from her LJ info, she's not a native English speaker.

But still!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

The Eggcorn Database.

Hurray, more language nerddom! Not that it doesn't make me sad every time someone refers to a chaise longue as a chaise lounge (and pronounces it that way), but I think I have lost the battle on that one.
