I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Oh, don't be silly! I'm sure JC will love it, and send polite, well-written, perceptive feedback, with suggestions as to his favorite positions.

What?

I remember back in 2001 when I first got on LJ, one of my first substantive posts was a long thing about how if fic ever blew up bigtime, it was gonna be because of RPS. Which at the time meant popslash -- LotRips wasn't even a whisper on the horizon, IIRC.

Good luck, Kristen. t swats the rear of her horse to go faster

You completely mischaracterized me here! I would never wear cords!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's always a brilliant person. Ah, fandom.

Alias fans, specifically SpyDaddy and SpyMommy fans, might like this piece by Vanzetti. Sort of a sequel to one of her stories, but so strong on its own.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

"I am such a woman"

People unclear on the concept of biology. I mean, not to the extent of Michael and Nikita and the kissing eyeballs, but.

Sometimes, I think too much of the globe needs radical deprogramming (or the cut-rate version, alias to be beaten with really hard sticks ), and my job will never be done.

Drive-by recs:

One Breath by M. Sebasky. LotR, Arwen/Aragorn. Gorgeous and melancholy and sexy.

Seeing Africa by Huzzlewhat, and its sequel, The Rapturous End by AnnaKovsky. BtVS, Buffy and Xander, post-Chosen. Both fabulous, with great Xander.

That'll do.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

After all Nikita’s orgasms were multiple and swift, like a woman in love she could climax with just a look from Michael.

I'm not sure if I'm depressed or inspired.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

ok, #1, I don't think that's actually a sentence.

#2 it's a robot, right? writing these stories? Because, while I can buy that I've never been in Twu Wuv, no. Just. No. And I can't imagine anyone (and I'm assuming this writer is female) who has ever...No.
