This is why your shit is stuff, while everyone else's stuff is shit.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Brighid's posted Jack/Daniel/Sam. I do so love fandom.

And it's believable, sad, funny, and smoking hot. Also, sadly, locked at the moment. I'll post a link when it shows up on her archive.

In other news, Hossgal wrote a brilliantly funny story about Simon, Jayne, and a new shirt. NC-17, and all the voices are perfect. I particularly love her Wash.

The Shirt Affair.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oh my God. That's possibly the most suggestive first sentence ever.

Nope, Jayne thought, if you had everything set up right before hand, there wasn't much better than spending an hour rodding a gun.

Heeee.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

ETA: Should go in Great Write.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson -- you should post that query in Great Write Way.

Thrive to spite them

I haven't read all of the Simon/Jayne story but Christ that's hot.

I'm worried I'll get busted reading it at work so I can't until I get home (which will be after 9 tonight! boo)

Why do I do this again?

3 pieces of fb today for a throwaway story about two Stargate characters having sex in a car.

One of them is badly misspelled and just wants to know if I have any more of that pairing.

One of them informs me that the writer has written an epilogue to the story in which one of the characters admits he's in a relationship with someone else entirely (thus subverting the point of my story entirely).

One of them rants at me about how my character's self-justification undercuts her ethics and mischaracterizes her boyfriend, then goes off on fannish politics (and ethics again) and ends with thanking me for the story.

You'd only have someone complain about the hairstyle you chose for Jesus and that King David was ever so much more handsome and how you're perpetuating outdated anti-snake stereotypes by blaming the eviction from the Garden on the serpent.
