Hauser: You really think you can solve the problem? Come into Wolfram & Hart and make everything right? Turn night into glorious day? You pathetic little fairy. Angel: I'm not little.

brillig

beats head against desk, considers retiring to monastery to make illuminated manuscripts instead

You'd only have someone complain about the hairstyle you chose for Jesus and that King David was ever so much more handsome and how you're perpetuating outdated anti-snake stereotypes by blaming the eviction from the Garden on the serpent.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Why do I do this again?

Because you like making me happy. Or, occasionally, making me appropriately sad. It's all about my needs, really.

One of them rants at me about how my character's self-justification undercuts her ethics and mischaracterizes her boyfriend

Wait, what? Now you're making me curious.

Oh, I had Sam, in a flurry of frustration at feeling trapped, make a move on Daniel. The feedbacker claimed Sam would never cheat on Pete and that he wouldn't want her to sit home instead of going offworld.

Which wasn't really the point of the story. Also? Unreliable narrators cover a host of evils. ::shrugs::

Although she liked the story enough to send me feedback, so I shouldn't complain.

Oh. I thought you meant mischaracterized the feedbacker's boyfriend. I was a bit confused.

I thought you meant mischaracterized the feedbacker's boyfriend.

Suddenly am envisioning N'Sync members sending popslashers feedback about their mischaracterized boyfriends. Heh. Heh heh.

Aha. Well, the feedbacker did like Pete, so perhaps there was a bit of that, as well. Never underestimate the capacity for self-delusion of the Internet Fan, I say. *grin*

"I'll have you know, I've had lots of sex with Lance, and the boy gives crap blow jobs. Also, I tried to get him to go shopping for curtains with me ONCE, and the fuckhead claimed he had a hair appointment.

Yours,

Chris."

In the last three months I've learned just enough about popslash to get that joke. May I be scared now, please?
