No, Bruce wouldn't lay a finger on Dick like that.... For some reason I just don't see Bruce Wayne with any slash potential at all.
Heh. Go to this interview with Devin Grayson (the writer of Nightwing), and scroll down to this question: "GL: I've heard that you've had thoughts about Dick being attracted to Bruce. What's that about? It could make for an interesting twist if Dick were attracted to Bruce but Bruce didn't feel the same way."
And suddenly the slash is crystal clear. And HOTT.
I love that woman.
She just... gah.
Her and Gail Simone and Judd Winick. Those three make me happy.
(I'll just reiterate my intention to marry Devin Grayson. BF, if you're lurking, so sorry.)
Damn. I am really going to have to check out this Bats stuff.

one of us... one of us...
Seriously, when it isn't writing itself, the characters are busy writing it. (Goes to happy Outsiders place and decides to stay there until reality is less horrific.)
Is Judd Winick Judd from the San Francisco Real World? And the boy actually has talent?
I am surprised. What's he working on?

Yes. One and the same. And yes, the boy's got talent.
Outsiders, Batman (starting with 626), and I'd have to check on the rest.
(Though the Dustin Ngyuen doing the Batman art is NOT the one from 21 Jump Street.)
Winnick's first big breakthrough was, in fact, a graphic novel about his friendship with the late Pedro Zamora, also of RW SF. Called Pedro and Me, and while I've never read it, it was very well-received.
Ladies, gents, and otherbeings, I bring you, The End of the World. Aka, Apocalypse_Latr, an LJ community dedicated to the proposition that fanfiction is good, and fanfiction about the apocalypse, via natural disaster, plague, or--my personal favorite--alien invasion, is better.
All fandoms welcome and enthusiastically received, with the possible exception of My Little Pony. Cause we're wacky that way.
C'mon in, the water's fine!
I also keep forgetting about his stint on Green Lantern, which got a lot of press for some of the storylines dealing with gay bashing.
