If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It was really excellent. You've got a great handle on Xander's internal voice - all the little asides and diversions, and it's just exactly how Xander's mind works. Very nicely done.

I've never posted in here before, I don't think, so Hi! But anyhoo...

I just wanted to congratulate Shrift on a cracking story. S/X was what got me into fan fiction in the first place and reading Loserville was like a flashback to that first flush of fandom love. Cheers!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Jars, shrift's the bomb.

She could write Mister Gordo/Mr. Pointy, and I'd read it.

Thankyou for that. Now I'm in a 'pig roasting on a spit' kind of place in my brain. It's not a healthy place to be, I don't think.

Thanks very much, Jars!

Inanimate objects. That could make things difficult. I mean, there'd pretty much have to be some magical animating doohickey plot device unless Mister Gordo secretly longs for a long, well-handled piece of --

Oh, I'm so not going there. I'm probably still in trouble for the Methos/Richie bad-and-wrongness.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Anthropomorphize, Shrift. You know you want to.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I'm with SA. Much potential for conflict, or, you know, whatever you want.

Green meteor rock! Ooops, wrong fandom. Magic animating doohickey is always possible, though... a demon dropped it, Buffy picked it up, left it on her bedside table, went off to school, Mr Gordo opened his eyes and...
