Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

You should read it, Steph. It's the most incredible thing.

And I talked to Max the other day and she's got 1000K of story on her hard drive. Wheeee.

Read Maayan's new story, Steph. It's not about the slash.

"No, YOU suck." -- the mean people.

I've got a friend looking for LoTR recs, non-slash. We've only got two at PolyRecs, and one is humor. Anyone have any they'd like to share?

One I came across just the other day and enjoyed a great deal is The Care and Feeding of Hobbits. by Baylor, a writer with whom I'm unfamiliar. It's actually a collection of short pieces, subtitled "Ruminations on the Little People by Boromir, Man of Gondor." Lovely hobbit stuff and lovely subtle Boromir stuff too. Well worth reading.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hee. That's already on my to-read list, courtesy of grit kitty. I'll definitely check it out.

For those of you who remember Naked Quidditch, it seems to have been finished:

Edit: Oh, and The Care and Feeding of Hobbits was an absolute joy. Highly recommended.

brillig

Just finished the Naked Quidditch--wonderful fun, but dammit, Draco didn't get to rescue Harry or anything, sigh. I'm a twisted, twisted soul. Though I like Ginny.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Thanks for the very good rec, Kat. Now you have done me two favors today....

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Oh, the poor BBF listmoms.

I want to buy them all stiff drinks. Damn.

So, yeah. I've hit the point where I can't stop laughing. Oh, poor list moms, I do not envy them the dealing with this crap.

Up with the sun

It's STILL going on? I tend to let the digests pile up until I have time to go thru and bookmark stuff I want to read, and I thought when I got thru Sunday's digest that people should be winding down.

Tho the "anything with Buffy or Angel that is not B/A is bad and not canon" person is pretty funny.

Thrive to spite them

I'm still reading in digest form, I think it's really weird.

I did run across this website once that was militantly B/A and didn't look like it had been updated since Season 2. Except that the email address was something like "dierileydie@whatever.com".

Their definition of "shipper" was someone who believes in Buffy and Angel forever. That's it. Just Buffy and Angel, if you don't believe in them then you aren't a true shipper.

I worry about people like that.
