Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can imagine well done young/young fic, cannot handle incest, except my definition is narrower than some, and haven't seen an instance of noncon that I felt was worth finishing.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

cannot handle incest

Also, I love Hotel New Hampshire beyond all reason (hello to the incest!) and The Secret History. Although both of those are sibling incest.

And, I realize, not fanfic. Just fic.

RL, isn't the Shack Challenge wonderful? My favourite has to be 54, I think.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

except my definition is narrower than some,

What do you define it as, then? Just curious.

Am-Chau, I know a woman (*very* cool woman) who's on the list holmesslash@yahoogroups (that may be slightly off). There Is An SirACD-Fic World Out There.

I think I should go looking for that list. The words

There Is An SirACD-Fic World Out There.

create in me a desire to read Mrs. Hudson/Irene femslash.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Jesus, that does make it sound bad. But in fiction it really may vary, both in form and function - and the damnedest thing is that notwithstanding how thoroughly & genuinely apalled most everyone is by actual rape, borderline consent and lack of consent is VERY popular and mainstream in fiction. I don't just mean fanfic either - it's a staple element of much romantic/erotic fiction out there in all its cheesy glory.

I've written stories in which there is sexual violence which I've tried to make ugly and unpleasant rather than titilating. But I've also written erotic stories in which powerplay and consent are key.

But enough of this. I'm being all mememem again, and it's dull. Hobbits - of course they have sex. They don't find baby Hobbits under the cabbage leaves! Bless. Frodo/Sam. Man alive, I'm looking forward to The Two Towers for a whole host of reasons.

Blood on blood? Incest. Loose parental figure/child? Not always. So the Soon Yi thing annoyed me for different reasons than most. Also ConCord doesn't bother me on that level in the least.

I'm looking forward to TTT for rather different reasons to last year FotR, because between then and now I have discovered on-line slash.

When I was reading FearlessDiva's comments on her Harry/Draco alleyway scene in ToS, I was going yes, yes throughout. That's exactly what I had wanted to do with the Claire story. Kinda failed, but that doesn't matter. She articulated every very well.

Who's Soon Yi?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Who's Soon Yi?

OK, I know I'm going to mess up some details here, but anyway. Soon Yi Previn was (well, is) the adopted daughter of Mia Farrow. For awhile, when Soon Yi was a preteen or teenager, Woody Allen and Mia Farrow were married. The two of them had a few kids together (I can't remember whether the kids were adopted or their biological kids, but I guess it doesn't really matter.) When Soon Yi was (I want to say 19, but I'm not really sure), it was discovered that she and Woody Allen were having an affair. They are now married and have a baby.
